PROJECT: Assessment of electrical hazard on metallic pipelines

We were engaged to deliver a Low-Frequency Induction (LFI) compliance study and Earth Potential Rise (EPR) assessment report in accordance with AS4853 for a length of the buried pipeline.

We were responsible for all the sub-activities, including:

1. Multiple soil sample resistivity measurement
2. Transmission lines data collection and modelling
3. Impressed voltage calculation
4. Equipment integrity assessment
5. Touch voltage assessment
6. Personal safety risk assessment
7. Mitigation control recommendations

Time Frame: Completed in 2020
