PROJECT: EDL – Pine Creek Power Station Upgrade, NT

Cell was engaged by EDL to perform a detailed 66kV transformer protection panel design to comply with the local utility authority, Power & Water Corporation’s (PWC) latest Network Technical Code.

This included the following:

– Design of the protection scheme.
– Specifying switchyard equipment (such as disconnectors, CBs, CTs/VTs).
– Worked closely with the PWC team to implement the interfacing connections and relay control logic.
– Power system and earthing study for the 66/11kV substation
– Construction and commissioning support.

Time Frame: Completed in 2018
